Julian Owens BSc ACA

After obtaining a degree at the University of Southampton Julian began his training as a Chartered Accountant with Griffith Clarke and qualified in 1998. He is the newest partner of the practice being appointed in August 2009.

He has a broad range of experience over all areas of practice but most enjoys challenges where he can put his problem solving skills in to play. This often entails tax planning and tax investigations where he is one of a few local accountants to have dealt with a ‘Civil Investigation of Fraud’ case.

Interests outside work include golf, cars, good food, and a pint on a warm afternoon.

Paul Griffith FCA

Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1972 after completing a training contract with a local firm. He is one of the founding partners in Griffith Clarke when the company was set up in Stroud in 1985.

A local businessman, Paul has owned and managed two local car dealerships and most recently a petrol forecourt and convenience store. Few accountants in practice can be better qualified to understand the problems from being in business at the sharp end.
